Is this a normal air fryer, or something different?

The 8-litre (8-quart) capacity is Instant Pot's largest Duo Crisp size and is rated for up to 8 servings, so it suits a family of 4-6 plus leftovers, batch cooking and meal prep. Note that air-fry capacity is smaller than the total volume: food sits in the air fryer basket inside the pot, so for crisping you load a single layer rather than the full 8 litres. Yes, it has a digital control panel with smart programs, so you set time and temperature on a screen rather than with manual dials. Instant Pot lists 11 cooking functions/programs covering air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate, pressure cook, slow cook, saute, steam, sterilise and keep warm. On the air-fryer (dry) functions the temperature is adjustable from about 41 C up to 204 C (400 F), which is the air-fry lid maximum. On cleaning, Instant Pot lists the pressure cooking lid and the stainless inner pot as dishwasher safe; the air fryer lid's accessories (basket, basket base, broil/dehydrator tray and steam rack) are top-rack dishwasher safe.
